Sonic the Hedgehog rolls into the club in “Ice Cap Shuffle”! Pete Frogs twists the Sonic the Hedgehog 3 theme into an EDM sensation with electro-house grooves and gliding synths.

Pete Frogs is a French bassist and composer known for covers of game music in a variety of styles, from 16-bit flips, to dark synthwave, to lofi hip hop and beyond. In “Ice Cap Shuffle”, Pete Frogs mixes up the Ice Cap Zone theme from Sonic the Hedgehog, and pairs the melody with pulsing EDM energy. The Ice Cap Zone theme appeared in the SEGA Genesis’ Sonic the Hedgehog 3, and was composed by keyboardist Brad Buxer, while officially credited to the SEGA Sound Team.
