Super Piano 64 paints a tribute to acclaimed indie RPG Clair Obscur: Expedition 33. Highlighting 20 pieces from the soundtrack, For Those Who Come After captures its world, characters, and emotional journey through delicate piano arrangements.
Super Piano 64 is the project of brothers Nathan and Canaan Evans. Covering beloved franchises including The Legend of Zelda and Pokémon, they dedicate the latest installment in their piano-driven & Sleep series to French studio Sandfall Interactive’s runaway hit, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33.
Listeners drawn to For Those Who Come After‘s somber tone may find a close companion in the duo’s Piano & Sleep: Silksong, which carries a similarly haunting, contemplative atmosphere into the kingdoms of Hallownest. The Pokémon-focused Poké & Sleep 2 rounds out the recent & Sleep series, while Sixth Station Trio’s chamber-music Zelda Classics offers a sister piece in the wider GameChops Unplugged catalog of acoustic interpretations.
Titled for the Expedition’s motto, For Those Who Come After balances the soundtrack’s heart-wrenching melodies with lullaby-like sensitivity. The original score was composed by guitarist Lorien Testard and soprano vocalist Alice Duport-Percier.
