A graceful slow-dance between intricate piano melodies, rumbling basslines, and chilled-out beats, comes a serenade from Tee Lopes — “Kass”, from The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.

Portuguese composer/producer Tee Lopes is a well-established figure in video game music, with credits on Sonic the Hedgehog, League of Legends, and more. The melody of Kass’ Theme made its first appearance in the newest installment of the Zelda series, as a playful yet melancholy accordion tune played by the bird-bard Kass.

Tee’s reimagining features tasteful ornamentation on the original melody and explores new possibilities by expanding on it in a major scale. This new flavor is something only a master musical chef Tee Lopes could come up with!
