Mipsick teams up with Coffee Date in a hazy lofi spin on “Kass’ Theme”. Pairing live accordion violin, and warbling pads, the Breath of the Wild tune transforms into a chillhop beat. An alternate mix by Coffee Date will also appear on her upcoming album Hyrule Café, releasing September 15th!

“Kass’ Theme” is an international collab between Helsinki-based lofi producer Mipsick, and Coffee Date, who lives in Los Angeles. Using their accordion and violin chops, the duo weaves live instrumentation into a laid-back lofi twist on the theme. “Kass’ Theme” was composed by Yasuaki Iwata, who is also known for his work on Nintendo titles including Animal Crossing: New Horizons and MarioKart 8. Coffee Date’s alternate mix of “Kass’ Theme” will be featured on her 21-track Zelda tribute album Hyrule Café, coming September 15th, 2023.
