Final Fantasy glides onto the dance floor in “Prelude”! The Icarus Kid pairs Nobuo Uematsu’s iconic arpeggios with chirping chiptune synths and uplifting house rhythms.

The Icarus Kid is the project of classically-trained musician and performer Dan Crowdus. With over a decade of experience remixing video game music, The Icarus Kid is known for his energetic remixes of music from Super Mario, Animal Crossing, and more. “Prelude” combines composer Nobuo Uematsu’s classic Final Fantasy theme with bouncy beats and feel-good EDM grooves. The theme was composed by Nobuo Uematsu, and has appeared in every mainline Final Fantasy title since its 1987 debut for the NES.
