Leap back into the 16-bit era in GENESIS JAMS 2! Pete Frogs compiles a mix of 13 hard-hitting video game themes, catchy chart-toppers, and pop culture favorites — all with high-energy SEGA Genesis style.

Pete Frogs is a French bassist and arranger with a passion for synthesis and classic consoles. In the sequel to GENESIS JAMS, Pete Frogs crosses over the worlds of internet culture, Billboard hits, and videogame music, all with immaculate sounds and samples from the classic SEGA Genesis console.

The tracklist includes standards of videogame music such as Super Mario 64’s “Bob-Omb Battlefield”, “Fairy Fountain” from The Legend of Zelda series, and Mega Man 2 favorite “Dr. Wily’s Castle”, alongside pop hits by BTS and The Weeknd, as well as meme-able cues such as “Barbie Girl” and Initial D theme “Running in the ’90s”. Covering a wide spectrum of catchy sensations, Pete Frogs handles it all with super-sonic sparkle and careful nods to the beloved classics of the Genesis.
