Explore the dungeon depths with lofi hip hop grooves and brooding 808s in “Underworld” by Coffee Date. Paying homage to the NES’ original Legend of Zelda, Coffee Date enters a labyrinth of haunting strings, chilling piano runs, and deep dark beats.

Coffee Date is the project of arranger and multi-instrumentalist Evelyn Rivera. In the third single from her anticipated album Hyrule Café 2, Coffee Date takes a departure from her cozy stylistic leanings for a darker hip hop reimagining of the dungeon theme from 1986’s The Legend of Zelda.

Featured in the series’ debut for the Nintendo Entertainment System, “Underworld” was composed by Nintendo legend Koji Kondo. Hyrule Café 2 will release on September 6th, 2024!

“Underworld” is out now on all online stores and streaming platforms! Support Coffee Date & GameChops by streaming, saving, and adding the track to your playlists.
