Tee Lopes continues to produce high-quality videogame chill-out music with”Terra” from Final Fantasy VI.

Piano, bass, and drums lay the foundation for this jazz fusion meets chillhop track from Tee Lopes. Originally composed by Nobuo Uematsu for Final Fantasy VI, “Terra” holds a place in many a gamer’s hearts. Tee’s stripped-down jazz club reimagining of the super Nintendo character theme turns a melancholy melody into a whole mood with flutes and acoustic guitar.

Tee is a modern videogame music legend. While he’s amassed a wide catalog of remixes and originals under his belt, he’s known best for his composer credits on titles such as League of Legends and the Sonic the Hedgehog series. Composed by Nobuo Uematsu, “Terra” is the overworld theme from the SNES’s Final Fantasy VI, which was released as Final Fantasy III in the west.
