Reminisce with chillwave atmospheres and synths in “Wind Fish” by Helynt. With shimmery plucks and pulsing basses, Helynt crafts a nostalgic reimagining of the theme from Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening.

Helynt is a music producer and guitarist based in Italy, known for hit albums including “Super Lofi World“, “Legend of Synthwave“, and more. Offering a single from his upcoming album “The Legend of Chillwave“, “Wind Fish” features dreamy synth chords and arps against slow and steady synthwave beats.

The original melody, “Ballad of the Wind Fish”, was composed by Kazumi Totaka, known for his work on the Animal Crossing and Luigi’s Mansion series. The tune appeared in The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening for GameBoy, as well as the 2019 remake for Nintendo Switch. The full album, The Legend of Chillwave, releases on February 9th.
