GameChops’ lofi hip hop Pokémon series continues in Poké Tape 4 with Coffee Date lending her orchestral influence to tunes from the Pokémon games and anime. Poké Tape 4 features live violin, guitar, melodica, and cello, Coffee Date brings a welcomed orchestral influence to the chill beat scene.

Coffee Date is Evelyn Rivera, a multi-instrumentalist and composer known for albums such as Stardew & Chill and the Zelda-inspired Hyrule Café series. In her latest album, she joins in GameChops’ Poké Tape series — a Pokémon tribute series showcasing the unique styles of top artists in the video game lofi scene.

Poké Tape 4 features Coffee Date’s favorites from the Pokémon franchise, including nostalgic favorites like “Pokémon Center”, the classic theme song “Gotta Catch ‘Em All!”, and “Route 1” (featuring classically trained pianist Sydney Paige). With music from Pokémon Red/Blue, Ruby/Sapphire, HeartGold/SoulSilver, Black/White, Sun/Moon, and the Indigo League anime, composers include Go Ichinose, Junichi Masuda, Minako Adachi, Shota Kageyama, and John Siegler & John Loeffer.
