Hollow Knight meets deep house in “City of Tears”! The Icarus Kid’s remix features punchy dance beats, emotional synths, twinkling arpeggios, and cinematic strings.

The Icarus Kid is Dan Crowdus, a pianist and producer with a passion for videogame music. In “City of Tears” he creates a world of energetic dance soundscapes, thrilling buildups, and breathtaking breakdowns. The theme originates from independent studio Team Cherry’s hit platformer Hollow Knight, which quickly established itself as a modern classic of the Metroidvania genre. The soundtrack was composed by Christopher Larkin.
