Dive into Nintendo 64 nostalgia with Jered Jones and Lonny Blank in “Funk on the Docks”, a bass focused cover of Super Mario 64’s “Dire Dire Docks”

Jered Jones is a Las Vegas-based guitarist and music producer. Known for his collaborations with Dj Cutman, Jered makes his solo debut on GameChops in “Funk on the Docks”, keeping a chill beat but ditching the dusty lofi vibes for a bass driven funk beat!

Adapting the water level theme from Super Mario 64, “Funk on the Docks” puts the bass guitar riffs front and center, with bopping basslines and swinging hip hop drums. “Dire, Dire Docks” was composed by Koji Kondo and remains a fan-favorite theme from the Super Mario series. For more groove-driven Mario interpretations, see New Donk City and Coffee Date’s Mario Tape. Listeners who enjoy upbeat, electronic Nintendo remixes can also explore Dubtendo in the wider GameChops catalog.

“Funk on the Docks” is out now on all online stores and streaming platforms! Support Jered Jones and GameChops by streaming, saving, and adding the track to your playlists.
