  • Spindash

    Spindash is a re-imagination of Sonic the Hedgehog’s most beloved music. Produced by Dj CUTMAN, Spindash features 16 video game remixers spanning diverse styles of dance music, includng future bass, dnb, house, trance and even dubstep. Old school fans will recognize themes from Genesis-era favorites like Chemical Plant and Ice Cap Zone. The album also features music from more recent Sonic games, including Sonic Adventure 2 and Sonic Colors.

  • Welcome Back to Hoenn

    Welcome Back to Hoenn is a remix of the Littleroot Town Theme from Pokémon Ruby/Sapphire and Alpha Ruby/Omega Sapphire (the 3DS remake). Ralfington created this remix using his 3DS and software downloaded from the Nintendo eShop, including Rytmik Retrobits and Rythm Core Alpha 2. It was then recorded in FL Studio, and mixed and mastered by Dj CUTMAN in Ableton Live. This cheerful tune is sure to brighten anyone’s day!

  • Final Fantasy Legend

    The Final Fantasy Legend EP is a three track collection of house, trance and drum and bass remixes of the 1989 gameboy game Final Fantasy Legend, featuring compositions by Nobuo Uematsu. Sometimes considered a blacksheep of the series, Final Fantasy Legend boasted powerful music utilizing the gameboy’s robust soundchip and stereo capabilities. bLiNd brings the harmonies and melodies of Mr. Uematsu’s music to the dancefloor with this EP. Both Final Fantasy and dance music fans will appreciate the emotive compositions and driving beats, complimented by polished, shimmery mixes.

  • Trapped in a Pokéball

    Trapped in a Pokéball, the collaboration between Dj CUTMAN and his former student Belthesar, is a remix of the 1989 Nintendo title Pokémon Trading Card Game. The game was originally released for Gameboy Color and is out now on the 3DS Virtual Console. This track combines chiptune leads with powerful hip-hop drums and then evolves into an epic drum and bass powerhouse.

  • Hunter

    Hunter is the second GameChops release from chiptune musician Mega Flare, this time he turns his focus to the dark melodies of Castlevania. Mega Flare uses a Nintendo Gameboy with the homebrew software to make music. This time, he collaborated with Dj CUTMAN to record each channel of the Gameboy’s sound-chip separately to mix them using Ableton Live. The result are two larger-than-life chiptune tracks with driving basslines and crisp clean leads. You can hear the influence of Baltimore’s clubs in Mega Flare’s drum patterns and arrangement.

  • Katamari Dance With Me

    Katamari Dance With Me features five remixes of memorable tracks from the Katamari Damacy series, including fan favorites Lonely Rolling Star and Cherry Blossom Color Season. The album features polished production and upbeat Japanese vocals from Vocaloid, the Japanese voice synthesizer best known for creating virtual pop star Hatsune Miku.

  • Strike The Earth!

    Dj CUTMAN here, and I love Shovel Knight! This track just dropped on the GameChops youtube channel. It’s a futuristic trap and drum and bass track that Kevin Villecco and I made out of the Shovel Knight OST. This track started at TooManyGames in the convention hotel room as a simple beat. As I played Shovel Knight, I got more and more amped for this remix, and it grew to epic proportions!” Out Now!

  • OutRax

    OutRax is a tribute to the music of Sega’s classic arcade racer, OutRun! Produced by RobKTA and friends, OutRax delivers the four classic songs from the original OutRun game, with two tracks from the sequels OutRunners and Turbo OutRun.

  • Year of the Yoshi

    Year of the Yoshi is a collaborative album including a diverse lineup of musicians and remixes. Featuring music inspired by the Super Mario series and as Yoshi-themed spinoffs, Year of the Yoshi is the definitive remix tribute to Nintendo’s green dinosaur.
