Zelda Lofi & Jazz Meet on Asoโ€™s Fiโ€™s Farewell Cover

Fi’s Farewell, originally from Zelda: Skyward Sword, gets a lofi cover by Aso, combining piano and upright bass performed by The Deku Trio with chill lofi beats.

Fi’s Farewell by Aso combines piano, upright bass, lofi beats, and a sample from The Deku Trio in a new interpretation of the Zelda theme. Originally composed by Koji Kondo, the melody remains front and center while piano and bass bring a live-band feel to the track.

Aso arrangements frequently pair live performance with hip hop and lofi influences. On Fi’s Farewell, those influences come together in a Zelda lofi arrangement that sits comfortably alongside study music, chillhop, and other contemporary interpretations of Nintendo soundtracks.
