Sheik’s Song gets a Jazzy Trip Hop remix from Shopan and The Deku Trio

Shopan’s flips one of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time’s most recognizable melodies through a blend of sample-based trip hop and instrumental jazz. 

Shopan is best known for his lofi beats released through Lofi Girl, Chillhop Music, and Japanolofi Records. As his first collaboration with GameChops, Shopan flips a sample of The Deku Trio Sheik’s Song into an ethereal lofi instrumental

Shopan brings together live jazz performance and lofi hiphop production in a collaboration that bridges the gap between true jazz and sample-based beats. 

Sheik’s Song is known for its calm, ethereal atmosphere. This arrangement keeps that energy while replacing the original instrumentation with expressive piano, a steady beat, and a relaxed jazz feel. The result is a version that feels familiar in spirit while offering a different listening experience.
