Kicking off the new year, Dj Cutman and Coffee Date throw back to the ‘00s with “Mii Channel”! The duo blends the Wii theme’s iconic electric piano and strings with booming bass and chilled beats

Coffee Date is the project of composer and violinist Evelyn Rivera. Known best for her album with Dj Cutman, Stardew & Chill, the pair reunite on “Mii Channel”. “Mii Channel” features a hi-fi recreation of the original theme with live violin recordings by Coffee Date, while Dj Cutman lends his hip-hop expertise in the 808-heavy beats and mix. The tune was composed by Kazumi Totaka, who is also known for his work on the soundtracks of the Animal Crossing and Luigi’s Mansion series. “Mii Channel” will appear on Coffee Date’s upcoming album Wii Chill, releasing this Spring.

“Mii Channel” is out now on all online stores and streaming platforms! Support Dj Cutman and Coffee Date by streaming, saving, and adding the track to your playlists.
