Explore a galaxy of nostalgia and emotion with “Rosalina in the Observatory”! Coffee Date pays tribute to the Super Mario Galaxy theme with twinkling piano and shimmering strings in a whimsical lofi waltz.

Coffee Date is the project of composer and multi-instrumentalist Evelyn Rivera. Known for albums such as Stardew & Chill and Hyrule Café, Coffee Date’s approach to the lofi VGM genre highlights live instrumentation and emotional melodies. In “Rosalina in the Observatory”, violin, piano, winds and delicate bells pair with relaxing beats. The theme, also known by the title “Comet Observatory”, was composed by Nintendo icon Koji Kondo for the Wii’s Super Mario Galaxy. “Rosalina in the Observatory” is the fourth track from Coffee Date’s upcoming album Wii Chill, which fully releases in July.

“Rosalina in the Observatory” is out now on all online stores and streaming platforms! Support Coffee Date and GameChops by streaming, saving, and adding the track to your playlists.
