Composer and multi-instrumentalist Pete Frogs unleashes his debut album, Frogged and Loaded, packed with nine hard-hitting remixes of iconic videogame tunes.
Following his three singles “Welcome to Chemical Plant”, “Metroid 2077”, and “Dark Messenger of the Funk” Pete Frogs returns with Frogged and Loaded, a multi-genre compilation of electrified spins on classic videogame music. With styles spanning from G-funk, to synthwave, to future bass and more, Pete re-envisions the most nostalgic themes with a futuristic flair.

Pete Frogs; a bassist, composer, and musician based in France. Following the release of “Welcome to Chemical Plant”, Pete reveals more of his dark side with the hard bass and electro sounds in “Metroid 2077.” The track fuses Metroid’s main theme, Ridley’s theme, and Samus’ theme, all melodies heard throughout the Metroid series. Its futuristic sound design evokes the style and grit of the Cyberpunk 2077 soundtrack that its name pays tribute to.
In his GameChops debut, Pete Frogs puts a G-funk spin on Sonic The Hedgehog 2’s “Chemical Plant Zone” with a hip-hop groove and smooth synth lines. Give a warm “Welcome to Chemical Plant” to Pete!
“Welcome to Chemical Plant ” reimagines Sonic the Hedgehog 2’s “Chemical Plant Zone” as a tune for cruising on a breezy summer day. Composed by Masato Nakamura, “Chemical Plant Zone” first appeared on the Sega Genesis’ Sonic the Hedgehog 2, and has since made recurring appearances throughout the series.
Frogged and Loaded has something for every music fan and gamer to enjoy, with remixes from Sonic the Hedgehog, Super Mario, Final Fantasy, Kingdom Hearts, Metroid, and Castlevania. Featuring the works of master composers Koji Kondo, Nobuo Uematsu, Yoko Shimomura, and more, Frogged and Loaded spotlights the best of video game music with all-new energy, grit, and sparkle.
