Super Lofi 64 creates an atmosphere of emotional melodies and subtle beats in “Zanarkand”. Featuring flowing keys and delicate details, the duo gives the Final Fantasy X theme a lofi twist.
Super Lofi 64 is the project of brothers Nate and Canaan Evans. A pianist and percussionist duo, the pair is known for their gentle lofi covers of the most popular videogame music, from The Legend of Zelda to Pokémon.
In “Zanarkand”, their first remix of Final Fantasy music, Super Lofi 64 incorporates ethereal reverbs, tranquil rhythms, and a heartfelt piano performance. “Zanarkand” was originally written by the acclaimed composer Nobuo Uematsu as the main theme of Final Fantasy X for Playstation 2.
