Take it slow in “Green Hill Zone” ~ Cool keys, funky guitar, and crisp RnB grooves sparkle in Funk Fiction’s remix of the Sonic the Hedgehog tune – The first single of his forthcoming album Sonic & Chill.
Funk Fiction is a Los Angeles-based composer, known for his work on videogame soundtracks such as Omega Strikers and No Straight Roads. In “Green Hill Zone”, he channels 90s’ RnB-pop vibes with twinkling keys and funky beats. The iconic melody was composed by Masato Nakamura for the first Sonic title in 1991, and has since become a musical staple of the Sonic the Hedgehog series.
“Green Hill Zone” will appear on Funk Fiction’s upcoming Sonic the Hedgehog tribute album, Sonic & Chill.
